If you’re like me, Golf With Your Friends is on your rotation for quick friend games on a Discord call. And Team17 is reminding us all that Golf With Your Friends 2 is on the way. Initially revealed in December 2024, Team17 and development partner Radical Forge are offering players a re-reveal trailer, which aired during the ID@Xbox Presented by IGN Showcase.
The re-reveal trailer puts the game’s frantic and chaotic multiplayer in the spotlight and gets players excited for the next evolution of the party game. Golf With Your Friends 2 is making its way to PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 with full cross-platform play, with up to 12-player multiplayer support.

What is Golf With Your Friends 2?
With six new courses, this chaotic mini-golf game is coming back with Golf With Your Friends 2. Each course is built around its own unique gameplay twist and gags. The game keeps its signature gameplay elements, pushing players with physics-bending challenges and more. Additionally, Golf With Your Friends 2 also adds new personalization with the debut of ‘Hole Explosions,’ which adds “a little razzle-dazzle” to every successful putt.
But the most exciting announcement from Team17 today is that this sequel will feature a new level editor that gives players creative control. The goal of this new editor is to give players the agency to create and customize unique, dynamic obstacles.

We don’t currently have a release date for Golf With Your Friends 2, but this cross-platform title is coming to all major platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. While we don’t have a release date, we do have a release window for sometime later in 2026.
