Summer Game Fest Officially Adds Gayming Pride Parade Stream Celebrating LGBTQ+ Games

Summer Game Fest has officially partnered with The Gayming Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ workers and communities in the games industry, for the organization’s Gayming Pride Parade. The Gayming Pride Parade is a Pride-themed showcase hosted by content creator Milady Confetti and will highlight LGBTQ+ games and voices.

In a press release shared by the non-profit, the foundation explained that the showcase will be a “virtual Pride parade” for video games, with each LGBTQ+ game presented as a “float” featuring trailers, commentary, and developer appearances throughout the showcase to spotlight queer talent across gaming.

“Pride has always been about visibility, celebration, and community — especially during moments when those things are being challenged. At a time when LGBTQ+ causes and arts organizations across the country are seeing support and funding disappear, it’s more important than ever to uplift queer voices and creativity,” said Robin Gray, Executive Director, Gayming Foundation. “With the Gayming Pride Parade, the Gayming Foundation is proud to bring that spirit to Summer Game Fest while supporting our mission to empower LGBTQ+ workers and communities across the games industry.”

The showcase is being produced by the Gayming Foundation with support from Gayming Magazine, the leading LGBTQ+ gaming publication and home of queer geek culture.

What to expect from the Gayming Foundation at SGF?

The Gayming Pride Parade joins a growing group of community-driven showcases highlighting underrepresented voices in games, alongside initiatives such as the Latin American Games Showcase, Black Voices in Gaming showcases, Women-Led Games, and other developer-led streams that celebrate the diversity of talent shaping the industry.

In addition to the showcase, The Gaming Foundation will partner with the Gayming Awards, which will take place on June 8, 2026. The ceremony will be broadcast exclusively on WOW Presents Plus, continuing a week-long celebration of LGBTQ+ excellence in gaming.

Want to submit your game? Here is how!

In order to submit your game to be one of the 10 featured titles, it must have LGBTQ+ elements and/or be made by a majority LGBTQ+ team. Games must also have a news ‘beat’ such as a reveal, a date confirmation, or an exciting update to fit within the SGF showcase structure.

Developers interested in participating in the Gayming Pride Parade can now submit their games for consideration via gaymingfoundation.org/prideatsgf
