Planet Coaster 2 has been a foundational game for park management sims. From Frontier Developments, the game has released four content packs expanding the aesthetics and possibilities for your theme park. Now, Frontier Developments is releasing its fifth content pack: the Toybox Pack.

The Toybox Pack joins the Bonus Ride Collection, Vintage Funfair Ride Pack, Thrill-Seekers Ride Pack, and the Sorcery Pack. The diversity of DLC and expansion content has allowed players to morph their parks to fit their own interests. And now, with the Toybox Pack and its block-inspired aesthetic, a whole new vibe is coming to the game.

What is the Toybox Pack?

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack But Why Tho 6

This new content pack is downloadable content that allows you to turn your park into a playful wonderland, inspired by, well, a toybox. This allows you to build scenery block-by-block, defining its aesthetic on the toy’s you would find in your room as a child.

But it’s not just the scenery aesthetic that the new content pack brings. With the Toybox Pack, you can also add new toys to your park and even create colorful cities with larger-than-life toys decorating the paths, and finally, a brand new entertainer has joined your crew, too!

Turn your park into a playful wonderland with five sensational rides, hundreds of new scenery pieces including larger-than-life toys, and colourful cities, built block-by-block AND a new heroic Entertainer, Max Stormcloud! Learn more here: https://fron.dev/ff56 The Toybox Pack will be priced at £9.99/$12.99/€12.99. Music: Stormcloud!

New Rides

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack

The Toybox Pack contains five new rides inspired by iconic family attractions, complete with out-of-the-box blueprints to just set in place or even allow you to use the game’s signature full customization too. You can find a full description of the new rides below:

Vector New-Gen Inverting Suspended Coaster

The first thrill-ride in the Toybox Pack, it can invert, it has a friction wheel lift, a chain lift, and despite being for all ages, it’s going to be one hell of a time. This ride gives your park guests “free-flying fun.”

  • Max Track Length: 20
  • Max Incline Angle: 90
  • Max Drop Angle: 180
  • Max Banking angle: 180
  • Max Turn Angle: 90
F&N Thriller Industries – Kid Coaster

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack But Why Tho 3

A thrill ride first and foremost, this coaster works well for all ages as a steel roller coaster that aims to make your park guests remember simpler times. Unlike the last Vector New-Gen Inverting Suspended Coaster, this ride can’t invert, but it does have a chain lift.

  • Max Track Length: 24
  • Max Incline Angle: 70
  • Max Drop Angle: 70
  • Max Banking angle: 70
  • Max Turn Angle: 90
Highroll

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack

You may have to deal with a little bit of nausea, but the alien-themed Highroll is a fun new addition. Described as “dizzy delights” for your guests, the ride has six independent rotating gondola arms and adds both nostalgia and charm.

  • Excitement 5.07
  • Fear: 4.15
  • Nausea: 4.28
WaveSim

Unlike the Highroll, nausea isn’t the focus here; surfing fun is. Inspired by a paint palette, this wave-generating ride is a good variation on expectations for your park.

  • Excitement: 4.50
  • Fear: 2.50
  • Nausea: 1.00
Airdrop

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack

A themepark staple in real life, this is a tall visual landmark for your park as it suspends guests and turns them into the simplest you can think of: a yo-yo. High risk, a big nausea-inducing stat, it’s also high reward with an almost 5.0 entertainment value for your guests.

  • Excitement: 4.81
  • Fear: 4.12
  • Nausea: 3.95

New Scenery

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack

The Toybox Pack’s new scenery has 29 new blueprints for park managers to use. While each blueprint is vivid from top to bottom and inspired by your toybox, it’s the block-inspired buildings that really make this scenery come together.

Park managers can build towering skyscrapers with bright plastic pieces, stack wooden blocks to construct imaginative buildings, or even make creative use of cardboard to bring your park to life.

Outside of the standard blueprints, the Toybox Pack also brings new Fill your park with fun using new decals, a variety of toy animatronics from robots to aliens, adorable animal blocks, and more. But putting googly eyes on everything in your park just might be this scenery’s most significant edge.

New Entertainer

Inspired by action figures, Max Stormcloud is joining your park as an entertainer. Frontier Developments’ description is not just to be shared here: “Dressed in a sleek, high-tech suit with bold colours and gadget-like details, Max Stormcloud combines bravery, humour, and a sense of duty as they engage with park guests, guiding them through a playful wonderland.”

What is the release date?

PLanet Coaster 2 Toybox Pack

Planet Coaster 2’s Toybox Pack releases on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 4, 2025.
