The Game Awards 2025 aired live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 11, 2025. This year’s show streamed live on Prime Video for the first time ever and was also available for free across more than 30 digital video platforms.

The Game Awards 2025 featured 29 categories, with its nominee list drawn from 102 games, selected by a jury that includes game-industry pillars such as Game Informer and Giant Bomb, as well as Hollywood- and celebrity-focused outlets like Variety and Entertainment Weekly.

To the surprise of no one who has been following games this year, Clair Obscur came out on top, taking home nine wins. However, some surprises came out of the woodwork, with a couple of underdogs taking home their own much-deserved accolades.
