A time of celebration, gifts, and grand rewards, World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2026 will kick off this year with a man whose filmography includes everyone from Sherlock Holmes to Alan Turing and Smaug. Yup, Benedict Cumberbatch is the official Ambassador for the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2026 event.
Known for his commanding presence (and inability to say penguin), Cumberbatch is aiming to bring a fresh approach to leadership that Wargaming has described as “calm strategy and clever guidance” on the battlefield.

What is new in World of Tanks for Holiday Ops 2026?
The Holiday Ops 2026 event kicks off on December 5, 2025, and will continue into the new year through January 12, 2026. Players can look forward to a winter adventure filled with festive-themed missions, rewards, and even a few holiday surprises.
- Holiday Garage: With the special holiday garage, Cumberbatch will welcome tankers with special assignments and an atmosphere that players haven’t seen before.
- Celebrity-Themed Rewards: Players will also be able to earn exclusive celebrity-themed rewards, including Cumberbatch’s in-game appearance as a tank commander, complete with his original voice.
