While Korean series on Netflix are often defined by the romance titles in the steamer’s K-Content library, the thriller series on Netflix are some of the best. The Price of Confession is the latest mystery-thriller heading to the streamer’s library in 2025.

The Price of Confession joins The Glory, Somebody, and this year’s As You Stood By in the thriller category, but its take on murder and revenge takes a different path. The series is directed by Lee Jung-hyo and written by Kwon Jong-kwan. Although noted as a Netflix Original, the production is handled by Production H and Studio Dragon, with Netflix serving as the distributor.

What is The Price of Confession about?

The new series follows Yun-su, a woman accused of murdering her husband, and Mo Eun, a mysterious woman called a witch, and their many secrets. With the new trailer, audiences get a closer look at the twists and turns they can expect from the upcoming series.

The trailer showcases a distraught Yun-su as she calls emergency services to help her husband, who lies bleeding next to her. However, when her behavior doesn’t align with the perfect example of a grieving widow, it begins to raise suspicion. She asks for a coffee during police questioning, she references CSI, and the more chilling thing is that she continues to smile throughout it all.

Still, Yun-su insists that she’s innocent, only to be sent to prison anyway. There, she meets Mo Eun, a woman feared as a witch, murderer, and psychopath. But when Mo Eun offers to confess that she killed Yun-su’s husband, there’s a price to pay.
