Launching on November 28, 2025, Farlight Games shared its first trailer highlighting the collab. The event brings the fan-favorite Kadokawa Animation series, Delicious in Dungeon, to life in an unexpected way.

What is the AKF Journey x Delicious in Dungeon collaboration?
Official synopsis from publisher: The crossover story begins with Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, and Senshi navigating their way back to the surface from the depths of the dungeon. Along their journey, they encounter unfamiliar monsters and inadvertently open a path to Esperia during a fierce battle.
The collaboration event will bring a few new things into the content. Players will join battles to collect ingredients to be used in a brand new and special Delicious in Dungeon-style cooking system that provides combat buffs. The wide variety of ingredients embraces what you can find in Esperis and some directly from Dungeon Meshi.
The new features from the AFK Journey x Delicious In Dungeon crossover will be introduced throughout the season, not all at one time on release.
But beyond the new features, the reveal trailer showcases just how well Farlight Games has adapted Delicious in Dungeon to the world of AFK Journey. Not only do they fit seamlessly into the world, but the game’s art style makes this crossover one of the best one-to-one representations of the known characters. It just looks great.
