In the latest Campus Huddle, a developer blog written by EA Sports developers to prepare players for each upcoming update, we received a breakdown of what to expect in CFB 26 in October. In the October Title Update, the developers have announced a new mode coming to College Ultimate Team (CUT) with Head to Head Ranked, new Gameplay changes, new uniforms, and more.
Bringing more competition to Ultimate Team has been a long-standing request from the community, and now, EA Sports is bringing it with a brand new mode: Head to Head Ranked. If you want to read the full things, you can go here.
What is Head to Head Ranked?
Bringing more competition to Ultimate Team has been a request from many in the community. To meet the demand, EA Sports has added Head-to-Head Ranked to CFB 26. The mode was built around competition and growth, where each game pushes you closer to your next milestone. Win or lose, every match matters, and every step forward feels earned.
What are the ranks in Ultimate Team’s Head to Head Ranked?
There will be seven Ranks, each divided into three Tiers. Every player will start out as unranked, and after five placement games, you will receive your starting rank, which could be one of the following:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Elite
- Hero
- Champ
- Top 100
How do you raise your Rank in Ultimate Team’s Head to Head Ranked?
To Rank up across the seven ranks, you need to earn enough points in the mode to progress to the next tier. Still, there isn’t a specific number of matches that will allow you to rank up. How many points you earn will depend on your win/loss rating and the rank of your opponent.
Additionally, players can also be demoted if their point total falls below the range of their current tier, and Ranked Seasons will reset on the first of every month, allowing for every player to come into the new month with a fresh slate, keeping the competition fresh.
