TAITO’s QQQbeats!!! Is Available Now On Nintendo Switch

TAITO, the masterminds behind classic bubble-shooting games, are mixing things up with a brand-new title, QQQbeats!!! The game is available now, as a download-only title on the Nintendo eShop.

Published by Square Enix, this original rhythmic puzzle game combines intuitive bubble-shooting mechanics with simple rhythm action, where players press buttons in sync with the music’s beat.

The game launches with 56 songs from a diverse range of genres, including popular anime and hits, as well as tracks by VTubers, virtual singers, and Touhou arrangements. The developers have also promised that regular downloadable content will be available to expand the tracklist.

QQQbeats!!! Soundtrack Highlights

The game’s soundtrack is designed to cater to every music fan, making it easy to pick up. With a huge variety of genres and artists, players can pop bubbles to the rhythm of some of the biggest names in music and the virtual world. The game comes right before the release of the music-puzzle game Lumines Arise, and  QQQbeats!!!’s soundtrack is what will help set it apart.

QQQbeats!!! Game Modes

QQQbeats!!! offers three distinct game modes to cater to every kind of player, whether they prefer solo adventures, competitive matches, or cooperative play. All modes support both solo and two-player options, online and offline.

• Story Mode: In this solo mode, players follow the story of Ceena and Ame, members of the game-streaming duo “Pupiccolo.” After an online controversy forces them to take a break, they return to streaming to face challenges, unlock new characters and songs, and grow together.
• Versus Mode: Here, players will go head-to-head in one-on-one battles. Online, you can dive into “Ranked Matches,” “Casual Matches,” or “Private Matches” with friends. Offline options include “Local Battles” using two devices, “Share-the-Device battle” on a single console, and “COM Battles” for solo practice. The game features 16 playable characters, each with their own unique traits to help you win.
• DUOps MOde: Allows players to team up with a friend or an online player to take on opponents together. This co-op mode is perfect for players of all skill levels to enjoy together. Clearing stages in this mode rewards you with more “BeatCoin” to spend in the game.

Musical Collaborations 

QQQbeats!!! features collaborations with beloved virtual talents and characters who appear as playable characters, adding even more excitement to the roster.
