Rocket Panda Games announced a brand-new DLC for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate (PBBGU), featuring real-life Japanese pop culture personality and cosplayer Kaho Shibuya as a playable character. This action-packed DLC is hitting PC and consoles soon, bringing magical girl mayhem and bread-powered justice to the streets of Los Angeles.
To celebrate the DLC launch, Japanese girl band The Phantom Breakers will release an original track titled “WISH” featuring vocals by Kaho Shibuya herself. This single will drop concurrently with the DLC on all major streaming platforms.

Who is Kaho Shibuya in PBBGU?
Meet Kaho, a baker by day and a magical girl by destiny, who serves up bread-fueled justice with a freshly-baked, chaotic moveset. Expect to unleash baguette blasts and croissant combos as she rolls and rises through enemies. Kaho Shibuya herself expresses her excitement in a release to press:
“My favorite game genre has always been 2D side-scrolling Beat ’em Ups, so to be in such a game as a menacingly strong DLC character is a dream come true. This playable Kaho is an amalgamation of a magical girl and a baker, prismatic and sweet.
Regarding the former, of course it’s every girl’s fantasy, especially when you grew up watching anime like Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, and Madoka Magica. For the latter, I wanted a unique weapon to stand out, and thought of a baguette as a weapon first, inspired from some of my favorite games. This character is from all my nerdy thoughts, and I hope you enjoy beating up enemies with it.”
