Crunchyroll may be the streamer everyone thinks about when it comes to anime, but Hulu has been making an exciting push with fan-favorite titles like BLEACH. Now, Hulu is bringing an immersive modern metropolis, Hulu Animayhem City, to Anime Expo in Los Angeles this year.

Starting on July 3, 2025, through July 6, 2025, attendees at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be transported into a vibrant city inspired by some of Hulu’s most popular titles, including Naruto Shippuden, DanDaDan, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, and One Punch Man. While Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the streamer’s only exclusive title of the bunch, the excitement they bring as a co-streamer can’t be overstated.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Season 3 - Hulu

If you’re looking for Hulu exclusive anime to watch, check out Tokyo Revengers, Summertime Rendering, Heavenly Delusion, and Undead Unluck. Not only are all of these series loved by fans, but our critics have heralded them as some of the best of the seasons in which they premiered.

These fan-favorite series, along with a vast library of other anime content, are all available to stream on Hulu and for bundle subscribers on Hulu on Disney+. Hulu Animayhem City promises to bring anime fandom to life with a city packed with easter eggs, beloved characters, interactive moments, and exclusive take-home memorabilia.

What can fans expect to experience within Hulu Animayhem City?

  • Shibuya Crossing: The bustling heart of the city will feature sleek metropolises with 2D cutout characters and shows around every corner. This central hub will offer multiple photo opportunities and video takeovers highlighting the four main featured shows and other Hulu Animayhem anime content.
  • One Punch Man Photo Opportunity: Fans can pose with their favorite heroes and stars like Saitama, Genos, Tornado, Garou, Silver Fang, and Superalloy Black Luster, stepping directly into the world of One Punch Man (just try to avoid that one punch!).
  • Dan Da Dan Photo Opportunity: Join Momo and Okarun as they “run” for their lives, leaping from the screen with layered 2D cutouts. Guests can pose as if escaping the enormous Earthbound Spirit Crab monster (Turbo Grannie’s true form).

  • BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Photo Opportunity: Stand alongside Orihime, Ichigo, Uryu, and other characters from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. Attendees can pose with their favorite characters and even wield iconic props from the show.
  • Naruto Shippuden Photo Opportunity: Pose with your favorite ninjas from Naruto Shippuden, including Naruto, Itachi, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura, in the iconic Valley of the End.
  • Hulu Animayhem City Lounge: For those needing a break from the excitement, two lounge areas will offer cozy cafe seating, Hulu-branded pillows, and convenient charging stations for a much-needed “R and R.”

Hulu Animayhem City is set to be a must-visit activation at Anime Expo 2025, promising fans an “unparalleled opportunity” to immerse themselves in the worlds of their favorite anime series.
