Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that pre-registration is now open for Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, their upcoming 4v4 team battle game. Get ready to dive into explosive combat and recruit iconic heroes, including a special new version of Goku.

Daima’s run was a strong comeback for the iconic series. In our review of Season 1, our critic said, “Dragon Ball DAIMA succeeds far more than it fails. It brings action, characters, and humor that largely succeed. It manages to move the franchise forward while also largely honoring what came before and serves as a worthy final entry in Toriyama’s body of work.”

Right now, players can join the pre-registration campaign to unlock awesome in-game gifts for all players at launch. At 500k registrants, player will unlock 5 G-Capsules, 1,000,000 will unlock an exclusive stamp while doubling that to 2,000,000 will unlock 7 SG-Capsules.

But the big prize is what’s next. If the total worldwide pre-registrations hit 3,000,000, every player receives the hero, Son Goku (Mini), straight from the new anime series Dragon Ball DAIMA. You can pre-register on the App Store, Google Play, PlayStation 5|4, and Steam. For players looking to play on Switch, the Nintendo eShop pre-registration will be available at a later date.

You may be familiar with the chatacter if you played Bandai Namco’s Dragon all Sparking Zero, Son Goku (Mini) is straight from Dragon Ball DAIMA. And of course, Son Goku (Mini) brings a unique playstyle to the arena:

  • Mid-Range Mastery: This pint-sized hero excels at keeping enemies at bay from a distance.
  • Power Pole Flurry: Rush in with a barrage of Power Pole (Nyoibo) attacks.
  • Team Maneuvers: Skillfully maneuver alongside his allies, Panzy and Glorio, to dominate the battlefield.

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra will release in 2025 on App Store, Google Play, PlayStation 5/4, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
