Amazon MGM Studios went to Italy with Another Simple Favor earlier in 2025, and now it’s returning with the new Prime Video Original Series Hotel Costiera. The new action-drama will release all six episodes on September 24, 2025. To announce the new series, Prime Video has released the teaser trailer and imagery.

Hotel Costiera will star Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, and Sam Haygarth, among others listed below under production information. The teaser trailer’s release comes on the heels of last night’s special preview of the series at the 71st Taormina Film Festival. Lead actor and executive producer Williams presented an exclusive sneak peek of the series to a packed house at the millennia-old Greek theatre in Taormina, a breathtaking venue between sea and sky.

What is Hotel Costiera?

Hotel Costiera first look images from Prime Video

Hotel Costiera is an action-drama filmed on Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast. The series centers on Daniel De Luca, played by Williams, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine who returns to Italy to work as a fixer at a luxurious hotel in Positano. In addition to managing the issues of the hotel’s affluent guests, Daniel is also seeking Alice, one of the owner’s daughters, who vanished a month prior. He must confront those responsible for the girl’s kidnapping, facing a challenge more substantial than any he has previously encountered.

Series Production Information

The series is directed by Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli. The series is based on an idea by Luca Bernabei and written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch. It is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios, and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle company. Williams also serves as an executive producer.
