Published by BILIBILI GAME and developed by Team Soda, the duck-themed top-down extraction shooter Escape from Duckov will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store and Mac through the Mac App Store and Steam when the game launches later this year. Known for their animation distribution with shows like LINK CLICK and To Be Hero X, Billbilli’s gaming arm is rooted in the unique community culture that the company has fostered.

Ahead of the release, players can experience the humor-focused game via a brand new demo on Steam and Epic Games Store starting May 29, 2025. Duckov is set to participate in Steam Next Fest starting June 10, 2025. If you’re unfamiliar, Duckov is a funky, adorable, duck-themed top-down PvE extraction shooter.

Unlike hardcore tactical shooters, the game features hyperstylized cartoon enemies, fog-of-war mechanics, and randomly dropped loot. Combined with base-building, weapon customization, and progression systems, Duckov promises to offer high replayability and extensive depth to keep players coming back for more.

The new demo, featuring approximately eight hours of content, will consist of two maps for players to explore, plus dozens of weapons, and an early look at some of Duckov’s building and progression systems. Players can now Wishlist the game to be among the first to try the demo.

Escape From Duckov’s core game features:

  • An Extraction Shooter for Everybody – A top-down PvE shooter that’s streamlined for tense but fun firefights, making the extraction gameplay easy to pick up but hard to master—perfect for players of all levels.
  • Sneak or Shoot? Quack Your Way Out! – Strategic resource management is key: fight enemies head-on with raw firepower or survive stealthily, plan your loot runs wisely, and avoid leaving empty-handed.
  • Build the Ultimate Base – Explore new maps, scavenge strategic supplies, and build up your base—all to construct a spaceship and escape the planet’s impending doom.
  • Mod Your Arsenal From Peashooter to Cannon! – Deep weapon customization and a robust crafting system ensure high replayability, keeping players quacking for more.

Escape From Duckov’s brand new demo will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store starting May 29, 2025, with the full game set to release sometime in 2025.
