What was featured on the 2025 Roadmap?

The 2025 Roadmap for Blazblue Entropy Effect

For anyone who missed it, the 2025 Roadmap revealed in February features new characters, a new boss, and locked-and-loaded global mobile versions, with room for additional content surprises.

The active player base shot up to 5-6 times its typical peaks — 72% higher than the 1.0 launch! The one-year update included a new boss, special crossover levels that unlock the titular character of ICEY from FantaBlade Network, and the new DLC character Hazama.

“An incredible team of developers and an enthusiastic community brought us from the brink of closure,” shares CEO Michael Jiang. “It is wonderful to see the hard work and passion of our development team recognized and celebrated in such a way. We wouldn’t be able to continue working on this budding flower of a title without this community, and we’re excited for Entropy Effect to blossom further with the new things we have in the works.”

What is BlazBlue Entropy Effect about?

BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a spin-off of the BlazBlue fighting series, which has firmly solidified itself alongside fighting game legends like Street Fighter and Guilty Gear. BlazBlue Entropy Effect takes the unique world and combines the flashy and deeply satisfying combat of the original series with a side-scrolling action adventure set within an original storyline.

Featuring multiple characters known from the main series such as Ragna the Bloodedge, Noel Vermillion, and newly-added HAZAMA, the fast-paced and fluid action game has a Very Positive 94% rating of 24,000 reviews.

Now, with over 1 Million Sales on Steam, the mobile version has also enjoyed over one million downloads in China on Android and iOS. 91Act promises to deliver a global mobile version in 2025, plus other highly requested features and future crossovers.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect can be purchased now on Steam for 22% off during the Steam Spring Sale, which runs from March 13 to 20.
