During the live stream, Game Director Rich Newbold and Senior Executive Producer Adam gave fans a look at what’s coming to Planet Coaster 2 in the upcoming Spring Roadmap. The biggest piece of news is that a major update is coming to the game on Thursday, March 20th.

Here is what players can expect in Planet Coaster 2’s Spring Update:
  • Enhanced raft behaviours on flumes
  • Further changes to flume jettison animations including rafts being thrown overboard, as well as impacts on guest happiness
  • A returning scenery theme from the original Planet Coaster, the Western theme, complete with a little teaser to give fans a taste of the past.
  • Further updates to creative tools, including the option to use random auto-rotation and scaling for a more natural variation when placing non-animated scenery, and the ability to select on-ride audio (including custom audio on PC)
  • Career mode maps from the tutorials and Act 1 available to customise and build upon in Sandbox mode
Standard ‘de-themed’ versions of two coasters, the Vector – Sit Down Launched New Gen and the Outamax – Launched Hydraulic
  • A returning ride, the thrilling Vector – Inverting Suspended, which has been rebuilt for Planet Coaster 2.
Further enhancements to management and the multi-select tool
  • A range of bug fixes and optimisations
  • And much more!

The Roadmap featured during the discussion also gave fans a glimpse of what’s coming in April for Update 4. A shiny, new restaurant feature will be added so players can build restaurants to satisfy multiple guest needs and food tolerances. Further ride additions and updates will give your park an edge!

Planet Coaster 2 is currently available now on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of £39.99/$49.99/€49.99.

Ready yourself for Planet Zoo’s latest bundle full of absolute cuteness

Planet Zoo Oceania Eurasia keyart

It’s a new year, and with that comes a new bundle for Planet Zoo: Console Edition players. The Oceania and Eurasia Bundle arrives on 26 March!

Zookeepers on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X can look forward to over 200 stunning scenery pieces and two additional scenarios, as well as welcoming thirteen amazing animals, including the Wolverine, Sloth Bear, North Island Brown Kiwi and the Eurasian Lynx!

While the announcement may be light compared to the Planet Coaster 2 news, PC players were encouraged to keep their eyes peeled next month for a major announcement.

F1 Manager 2024 Update 1.11 details revealed

During Frontier Unlocked, it was revealed that Update 1.11 has dropped for F1 Manager 24, bringing with it a whole host of new features. It’s the series’ biggest update yet and includes a brand-new ability to customise seasons in Create-A-Team mode.

This new feature enables Team Principals to extend some of Create-A-Team’s customisation options to the entire grid, move existing drivers and staff between teams, create their own drivers and staff, and more!

Additionally, players can grab two free livery DLC packs to expand their creative palettes – the classic touch of the Historical Livery Pack or the striking designs of the Abstract Livery Pack.

Wrapping things up, more on Elite Dangerous

Elite Dangerous final timeline update

Arthur Tolmie and Zac Cocken gave viewers a look at Elite Dangerous‘s exciting year ahead, which includes four new ships, one feature rework, and one brand-new feature following its anniversary celebration at the end of 2024.

The segment started with a reminder that the Elite Dangerous: Trailblazers update was deployed earlier on February 26th. This update introduces System Colonisation and allows Commanders to expand the bubble of human-settled space to claim their own star systems.

In ship news, players got their first look at Elite’s next new ship – The Gutamaya Corsair, a medium-sized multi-role ship which is built to support Supercruise Overcharge (SCO) and arrives in ARX early access in April. Whilst the Zorgon Peterson Mandalay, is available to purchase with in-game earned credits from today.

Finally, Game Director Piers Jackson joined Arthur to discuss the next feature update, unveiled as Elite Dangerous: Vanguards and releasing this Summer, with more information to come in future Frontier Unlocked livestreams.

The next installment of Frontier Unlocked will take place on March 26, so mark your calendars! In the meantime, you can watch the full stream below.
