Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown is the latest TMNT game to join the ranks. This IP continues to inspire and influence, with the dynamic, favorite turtles we all know and love being one of the many reasons why creators and fans keep coming back for more. But what exactly should fans expect right now from this latest TMNT addition? And will it be enough to add something new to an IP that has been explored again and again for over 40 years?

What to expect from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown?

Play as each of the four iconic Turtles — Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo — and take the fight to the nefarious Foot Clan, among other iconic villains. Brawl it out in mutating levels, from the rooftops to the sewers, as the turtles confront the rise of a dangerous new leader. Each playable Turtle has their own mini-campaign, where you wield unique movesets and utilize super moves to turn the tide against opponents in strategic, turn-based battles.

Perfect for quick-play sessions that feel meaningful, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown’s fast-paced encounters only take minutes to complete. Eventually, players progress toward a dramatic finale, in which the Turtles must unite against evil forces.

Insight from the creators

I get to make a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game where the very first lines of dialogue establish that Shredder and Splinter are dead. Who else can say that?”

Nelson Jr. works hard to deliver fine-tuned projects to fans everywhere. Known for his work as a leading developer on I Am Your Beast, CLICKOLDING, El Paso, Elsewhere, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, and dozens of other critically acclaimed projects, it’s no wonder his company Strange Scaffold is focusing on tackling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for their next game.

More details will be coming soon as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown gets closer to launching in 2025 on PC through Steam.
