No Gain No Love, the Korean Drama series starring Shin Min-a, Kim Young-dae, Lee Sang-yi, Han Hyeon, and more, is a modern romance about not wanting to lose out on love, money, and career. The zero-sum rom-com will premiere on Monday, August 26, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories worldwide, with new episodes available weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays.

When it comes to family, love, or work, Son Hae-yeong, played by Shin Min-a (Our Blues, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha), has encountered loss after loss. In order to change her luck, Hae-yeong ends up seeking a fake wedding with her neighbourhood convenience store employee, Kim Ji-uk, played by Kim Young Dae (The Forbidden Marriage, Moon in the Day) to avoid missing out on a promotion.

Kim Ji-uk is known for being a model neighbourhood citizen and works night shifts at a convenience store. A local hero who can not ignore others in need, Kim Ji-uk agreed to Hae-yeong’s ridiculous proposal to be her fake groom for her fake wedding.

No Gain No Love also features Lee Sang-yi as third-generation chaebol Bok Gyu-hyun, the CEO of the company where Hae-yeong works, and Han Ji-hyeon (Cheer Up, The Penthouse) plays Nam Ja-yeon, a popular R-rated web novel writer and Hae-yeong’s family-like friend and roommate.

Director Kim Jung-sik (Strong Girl Nam-soon; Work Later, Drink Now) is helming No Gain No Love, and the series is written by Kim Hye-young (Her Private Life).

The marriage of convenience trope in the Kdrama sphere is familiar territory. However, with this stacked cast and the return of Min-a as our romantic heroine of the series, No Gain No Love will likely tap that sweet spot for Kdrama rom-com lovers. Plus, Prime Video hasn’t failed us viewers yet in the rom-com territory. Here’s looking at you, Marry My Husband.

Will these characters be able to gain love and not lose out on anything? Tune in for a fun, modern romance when No Gain No Love launches on Prime Video on August 26.
