TWICE Releases New Single ‘I Got You’ Ahead Of New Album

K-Pop group TWICE returns with their first single of 2024, “I Got You.” The song arrives ahead of their 13th mini album With You-th available February 23 via JYP Entertainment/Imperial/Republic Records. The group’s third English single comes on the heels of their previous English language releases. These numbers have amassed staggering popularity. Their single “The Feels” marked the group’s first career entry on The Billboard Hot 100. It also earned them their first U.S. gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. “Moonlight” also placed on the Hot 100.

The pre-release single “I Got You” is smooth and captures light, synth-pop influences highlighting the member’s sweet vocals. Composed of nine members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, the group is on the cusp of even greater success. The single follows the announcement of a special performance of TWICE’s 5th World Tour, “Ready to Be” in the United States. “READY TO BE” ONCE MORE takes place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on March 16.

Their last mini album, the 2023 READY TO BE, was declarative in the group’s assertion of tone. A dance-heavy album excelling in production pop and retro production, the album won praise from critics. 2023 saw the group receive the Breakthrough Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. READY TO BE holds the biggest pure sales week for an album by a female K-Pop act in the U.S. and secured the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. In 2023 the group set forth on the North American leg of their 5th World Tour, “READY TO BE.” This tour made TWICE the first K-Pop girl group to play to sold-out shows at both MetLife and SoFi stadiums.
