“The Realm of Dreams,” the second content update for Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, launches February 27. The update is free for all expansion owners. The update includes a new section of Nayos for players to explore to prevent Tyria from falling to this otherworldly enemy. Two new legendary bosses will begin to appear in Convergences, and a 50-player combat feature introduced in the “Through the Veil” update will be available.
Each profession will gain the use of a new weapon proficiency that they previously couldn’t wield to aid in the fight. This gives players new skills and build possibilities. A new legendary relic and the first tier of the legendary Obsidian armor set are powerful new gear rewards.
Along with continuing the story of the Kryptis invasion, “The Realm of Dreams” contains a refresh of the Wizard’s Vault to provide new items and rewards for players to augment their play style. At the same time, the Temple of Febe Strike Mission welcomes Challenge Mode, a harder difficulty option for the truly adept. Along with a new Ranger pet and an expansion of the Astral Ward Mastery line, this update sets the stage for the thrilling Secrets of the Obscure finale later this year at no additional charge to expansion players.
Guild Wars 2 is a visually stunning online game that offers players the epic grandeur of a massive role-playing environment. This is combined with action combat and large-scale dynamic events that players tackle together. It’s both team-based and World vs. World competitive battles.
The game is available on Windows PC and Steam. Updated frequently with expansion and free content chronicling the ongoing story of Tyria, the game offers new environments and activities. The game continues its no-subscriptions-fee business model.
