Crunchyroll is announcing that powerful Japanese musician and vocalist Ado will bring her first world tour, “Wish” Powered by Crunchyroll, to fans across the United States and Europe starting in early 2024.

Ado is a vibrant Japanese pop singer known for her hit songs across fan-favorite anime series. Her song “New Genesis,” which was the theme song for the recent hit film One Piece Film: Red, held the #1 spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks.” “New Genesis” also became the first-ever Japanese song to reach the #1 position on Apple Music’s Top 100: Global Chart. Ado’s new song, “Kura Kura,” is an opening theme song for the beloved series Spy x Family, which was written by meiyo, a Japanese pop wizard behind numerous hits, and arranged by Yoko Kanno, known for composing music for the anime series Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and Genesis of Aquarion. Ado’s music has captivated global fans and captures the angst and cautious optimism of Japan’s younger generation. Ado’s world tour “Wish” Powered by Crunchyroll will light up eight cities across the United States and Europe, beginning in March 2024. A special presale for Crunchyroll fans will take place on December 11, 2023, at 7 AM PST. The code for this presale will be made available exclusively on Crunchyroll News. General tickets will go on sale on December 15 at 7 AM PST.
