Dreamhack Dallas 2023 Day 2 was filled with exciting matches, great panels, and more. If you haven’t made it to the Kay Baily Hutchinson Center yet, there is still time and we have a nice little recap to get you up to speed on what you’ve missed. The second day of DreamHack Dallas featured electrifying matchups between some of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world, DreamHack Dallas’ cosplay champion was crowned, the $10,000 LAN started in the newly-released Street Fighter 6, and more.

After pulling out a fantastic and close win over Heroic, MOUZ advanced to the Grand Finals with ENCE coming in right after them, knocking out FaZe. IEM Dallas 2023 is approaching its dramatic conclusion, with MOUZ and ENCE earning their spots in the Grand Finals today at 12:30 pm. But that’s not all that fans can look forward to at the IEM Arena on Day 3. Ahead of the finals, two all-star rosters of current and retired pros, Team America and Team Universe, will battle in a showmatch beginning at 11 am.

Additionally, the all women ESL Impact Dallas teams advanced through group stages, with NAVI Javelins, FlyQuest Red, Nigma Galaxy Fe, and B4 Esports Female qualifying for the semifinals. Their matches began today, Sunday, at 9:30 am, with the Grand Final slated for 5 pm.

But CS:GO wasn’t the only game being played. Following two days and four heats of competition, the $250,000 DreamHack Open Featuring Fortnite draws to a close with Grand Finals at 12 pm. The top 10 duos will qualify for the $2 million Gamers8 Featuring Fortnite event later this year. Add in The Halo Championship Series Global Invitational that concluded group stages on Dreamhack Dallas Day 2 and we had a solid match day. In Halo, FaZe Clan and Spacestation Gaming advanced to upper bracket finals, and OpTic Gaming and Native Gaming Red in the lower bracket. Matches begin Sunday at 10 am, and the grand final is scheduled for Sunday at 1 pm.

On the collegiate side of things for Dreamhack Dallas Day 2, the top 16 Collegiate Rocket League World Championship teams after Saturday’s group stage advance onto bracket play on Sunday. Quarterfinals begin at 11 am, with the grand final slated for 5 pm. And finally, DreamHack Fighters continued into Day 2, including competitions in Brawlhalla, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Smash Bros. Melee singles, Guilty Gear: Strive, Tekken 7, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. DreamHack also kicked off one of the world’s first Street Fighter 6 LAN tournaments, complete with a $10,000 prize pool. Top cut matches for multiple titles begin at 11 am on Sunday.

Outside of esports, the top cosplayers gathered for the $3,000 Cosplay Championship hosted on the Main Stage, with star-studded performances and returning champion and Halo cosplayer ODSTSax blowing the crowd away with his look and tunes. Sunday’s program will include meet-and-greets with cosplayers Naomi Barrowes, Maikehuster, and Nicoolin, photo opps with Diablo and World of Warcraft cosplayer DarkLady, and more.

And in the festival style that Dreamhack is known for, Metalcore bands Veil of Maya and Wage War headlined DreamHack Dallas’ Metal Night Saturday evening. Members from Wage War have also been spotted throughout the festival, including competing in DreamHack Fighters and co-hosting the Cosplay Championship.

Dreamhack Dallas 2023 celebrates its last day at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center today, Day Passes are still available.
