Loud House
The Loud House has been a staple of Nickelodeon for some years now, amassing a fantastic five seasons plus one spin off series, The Casagrandes. Now the Loud family is stepping up to the big leagues with a feature film coming to Netflix on August 20th. As luck would have it, Aaron got time to sit down and chat with Dave Needham ahead of directorial debut.

The Nerds Social Club Podcast · Nerds Social Club Podcast – Interview With The Loud House Director Dave Needham

Needham, previously an art director, story artist, and now a feature director, has twenty years of experience in the animation industry. He has contributed to feature films and series such as Amazing World of Gumball, Penguins of Madagascar, Trolls, Boss Baby, Lego Batman, Smallfoot (as Head of Story) and many more. Now Needham is tackling one of the biggest families in the animation world, The Loud House in their own upcoming film set to be released on Netflix on August 20th, 2021. The film features some exceptional new talent to the franchise, David Tennant, Michelle Gomez, and Billy Boyd.

Believe it or not, Aaron is actually a big fan of the show, having watched almost the whole series on Nickelodeon with his kids. A show that focuses on a 10 year old boy, Lincoln Loud, and his 10 sisters as they attempt to manage life under one house, with only one bathroom. For fans of animated comedy, and fans of the show, you’ll want to check this interview out!
