4 Reasons to Pick Up ‘Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2’

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is a racing video game that was developed by Bamtang Games. Players can choose from various characters and karts to compete in either single-player race cups, local multiplayer, or online. Players can customize their karts and create their own pit crews to make the ultimate driving team. I’ve played some other cartoon driving games but never one that included Nickelodeon characters. I was really excited to start the game and see all that it had to offer.

New and Old Nick Cartoon Characters

I was really surprised by all the characters that are included in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2. Past meets the future, with the characters being from different shows of various eras in Nickelodeon history. I was able to play as Gerald from Hey Arnold, Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life, and Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It hit that level of nostalgia since I grew up watching many of those shows. I wish that a game like this with Nickelodeon characters was around when I was younger. There were also new characters from shows like The Loud House, which came out after I stopped watching Nickelodeon shows. However, I’m tempted to go back and watch the shows because I like the character designs of the show’s characters.

Unlockables

At the start of Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, players have a limited selection of karts and characters to choose from. As players complete different cups or reach certain goals, more karts and characters will be unlocked. I’m not too familiar with these kinds of games, but adding this element to the game is fantastic. It gives players a bigger challenge while also not making it too difficult to unlock more items. Some items can be unlocked by earning coins after every race. Where you place at the end of the race determines how many coins you get. I’ve unlocked only a few sets of characters and can’t wait to see which other characters I can get.

Fun For Friends and Family

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is a game that’s perfect to play with friends or at a family gathering. There are over 20 courses to choose from to make the experience of playing the game more entertaining. I played with my younger brothers and other family members for a few hours and they all enjoyed the experience. I was really surprised since a lot of my family aren’t big into games but still had fun playing Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2. Most of the enjoyment came from all the characters and karts that they could choose from. Making selections was easy enough for them to follow.

Online Multiplayer

Unlike its predecessor, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 includes an Online Multiplayer mode. Each race can hold up to eight players. I tried the mode out for a few minutes and had a lot of fun. For this being my first time playing a racing game like this, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed playing online with others. It was great to look at the different combinations that other players would come up with and the secret paths that they would take. I recommend playing this mode once you have put a few hours into the game.

Overall, I really enjoyed playing Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2. The four reasons mentioned above were what stood out the most while playing the game. However, these aren’t all of the reasons that people should be playing the game since the game has much more to offer. Make sure to grab a copy of Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 for fun and competitive races.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
