Love Is Blind Season 10 has concluded. While the first six episodes of Netflix’s reality show/social experiment seemed to be building toward something promising, this season ultimately didn’t end with a happily-ever-after for everyone. Following their departure from the pods and their honeymoons, the couples head home to answer the question of whether or not any of them would make it down the aisle.
Unfortunately, as the back half of the season played out, the answer to that question became less exciting, but it still had some entertainment value. Episodes 7 through 12 of Love Is Blind Season 10 certainly deliver dramatic moments, particularly in Chris and Jessica’s fallout and the messy dynamics of Alex and Ashley’s relationship. Nonetheless, in the tenth season of this experiment, it’s becoming increasingly evident that Love Is Blind keeps trying to recapture the magic of the first season, but just can’t seem to recapture the authenticity and spark it had in earlier seasons.
Perhaps it is because show participants are more aware than ever of how they present themselves on the show, which can sometimes mean they do not show up as their most authentic selves. Or it’s an issue with production and editing, cutting out moments that may not seem the sexiest or most dramatic, but at least it would help provide a better lens through which to view the characters.

One of this season’s weirdest creative choices was how it framed its location. Unlike previous seasons of Love Is Blind, which were more closely connected to cities like Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta. Instead, Love Is Blind Season 10 just refers to it taking place in Ohio.
It may not seem like a huge deal, but it does change the way this season feels slightly. Previous seasons benefited from casting from the shared dating pools of a specific, recognizable city, which helped ground the show’s experiment in that specific environment.
In contrast, Love Is Blind Season 10, set in “Ohio,” lacks identity and comes across as oddly vague, as if the show is not quite sure which community or dating culture it wants to anchor itself in. All of which just contributes to making the setting of this season feel less defined and lacks a real personality that has made other seasons more compelling.
What happens after The Pods and The Honeymoon in Love Is Blind Season 10
Following their return to Ohio in Love Is Blind Season 10, the couples do the usual meet-and-greets with friends and family for their new significant others. The honeymoon offered the couples a chance to connect and further their bonds without the pressures of everyday life. Now returning home and meeting up with the other members of the Pod Squad also adds another layer of drama to the experiment.
Unfortunately, several couples this season struggled to transition from their emotional connections to their physical and real-world compatibility outside of the pods. Here are the couples whose relationship fell apart before it could reach the altar, or who managed to make things work but just did not say “I do”.
Jessica and Chris’s relationship was doomed to fail largely because of Chris.

Chris and Jessica’s relationship begins to unravel shortly after their return home, largely because of Chris. Initially, their relationship felt tempered and forgettable, but things quickly took a turn for the worse once their deeper compatibility issues surfaced. Jessica came into Love Is Blind Season 10 with emotional maturity, authenticity, and a clear sense of what she wanted in a partner.
Whereas Chris quickly started to have second thoughts about his relationship with Jessica because the physical attraction was lacking for him, in his words, due to Jessica not doing CrossFit or Pilates daily.
Needless to say, Chris’s poor excuses were clearly a failed attempt to insult and humiliate Jessica. He felt insecure about the stark differences in their income and lifestyles. Or if he was simply trying to make an excuse to break up because he realized he was not really into Jessica, as he was in the pods. Nonetheless, Chris’s comments about Jessica and his disrespectful pursuit of Brianna earned him the title of villain this season.
Brianna and Connor are weighed down by Chris’s shenanigans.

Brianna and Connor are initially one of the stronger couples in Love Is Blind Season 10, but they also have their fair share of drama. The biggest issue in their relationship stems, oddly, from Brianna being drawn to still converse with Chris, who was her number two in the pods.
Even though Brianna chose Connor in the pods, it is clear she still feels a weird need to talk with Chris more because of how deep their conversations and connections felt there. This causes Connor to feel insecure about whether Brianna still has unresolved feelings for someone else in the experiment.
Eventually, Brianna gets over what weird lingering feelings she has about Chris after the Pod Squad meetup. Granted, it feels like Brianna indulged Chris’s badmouthing of Jessica and Connor far longer than anyone who genuinely cares about their fiancé and friend would.
Eventually, Brianna cuts off Chris due to his inappropriate behavior, reaffirming her intentions and commitment to Connor. Although the couple ultimately decided not to go through with the wedding, they stayed together and are still going strong a year later.
Brittany and Devonta are uncomfortable to watch.

Brittany and Devonta feel like the most forced couple this season. From the moment the couple meets face-to-face, it is clear they are not as well-matched as they thought in the pods. Both of them expressed separately in a confessional that they are not each other’s typical type in terms of physical appearance. Which makes one think, if either Brittany or Devonta really came on this show understanding the entire purpose of falling in love with someone’s personality, instead of prioritizing the physicality.
As Love Is Blind Season 10 progressed, Brittany tried to put in the effort to develop their relationship and bridge the emotional and intimacy gaps. Instead, the gaps just seem to get bigger, as her partner, Devonta, did not seem to put in the same level of effort in the relationship. In all honesty, Devonta just feels like he is playing a part and has checked out of this season, which is unfortunate for Brittany, because at least she was willing to try to connect and make things work.
Ultimately, Brittany and Devonta’s relationship just can’t make it to the altar by the end of the season. Although it seemed they were agreeing to give dating a shot, even that felt one-sided and hopeful only on Brittany’s part. Meanwhile, Devonta seemed eager to end the relationship.
Couples Who Made it to the Altar
Vic and Christine, who are, honestly, the safe couple of the season.

Vic and Christine are clearly this season’s “Safe Couple”, who actually made it to the altar and are still married a year later. It is just too bad that production did not have the time and resources to give their relationship’s story a lot of screen time. Since the season has ended, Christine and Vic revealed that they were initially told they were not chosen to go to Cabo with the other couples and that they would not continue filming. However, production had a change of heart and decided to send the couple to Malibu to continue filming their love story, even if it did not get as much screentime as the others.
In all honesty, Vic and Christine getting the short end of the production stick may have just saved them from being dragged into all the other couples’ drama. However, their storyline not getting the same time and opportunity to follow them as the other couples feels like a direct result of production and casting trying to overcompensate by overstuffing the show with more couples. Additionally, the lack of screentime for Vic and Christine made their relationship feel surface-level, but that is not on them; that is on the edit.
Amber and Jordan are the most authentic couple of Love Is Blind Season 10.

For the most part, Amber and Jordan were one of the most genuinely liked couples this season. Their love story was not perfect, but it felt the most authentic. Jordan and Amber’s relationship seemed to be firmly grounded in honesty and mutual support. But they also had some dramatic moments that stemmed from Amber’s trust issues. Amber’s interpretation of Jordan’s nervousness about meeting her daughter as his doubting or not being serious about their relationship was a bit over the top.
Granted, as a single mother participating in the Love Is Blind experiment, it is understandable that Amber is very protective of her daughter emotionally and does not want a man to just come in and out of her life. By the end of Season 10, Jordan and Amber can make things work and make it to the altar to say I do.
The question of children hangs over Emma and Mike’s relationship the entire season.

The one question that consumed Emma and Mike’s relationship this season was not whether love is blind. It was whether or not Emma wanted to have children. From the start of Love Is Blind Season 10, Emma made it very clear that she did not want to have kids. As the season went on, that evolved into her being unsure about having kids.
Mike, however, has always known he wants to have kids and to be a father. Which begs the question: why did Mike choose to pursue Emma in the first place if she was so unsure about having kids? Especially when there were other women in the pods who were very confident about wanting to have a family.
Rather than their relationship evolving beyond the topic of having children, their storyline just keeps circling back to the same conversation. It would have been nice to see more of Emma and Mike’s relationship so the audience could understand how their attraction and intimacy deepened. But nope, we barely get any of that.
By the time the couple reaches the altar, Mike asks Emma, in front of their friends and family, if she is truly ready to start a family with him. Emma, surprisingly, says yes and states she is committed to having a family with Mike, but in a shocking turn, Mike says no to Emma, citing that he needed to be with someone who is completely sure about having kids.
Ashley and Alex are red flag central.

Ashley and Alex’s relationship is rife with red flags as they go through the experiment. First, their relationship seems to stumble because of Alex’s lack of attraction and intimacy towards Ashley. Later on, parts of Alex’s past and career don’t make sense to Ashley or her family. Although Ashley initially approaches the relationship with some patience and sincerity, it is clear that her doubts about what Alex has told her are growing.
It is clear that Ashley and Alex have no business at the altar, yet they go there anyway. Before reaching the altar, Alex revealed that he and Ashley had agreed to say no because their relationship lacked depth and couldn’t progress further. Although they had planned to go their separate ways amicably, Ashley actually took the moment at the altar to drag Alex for filth and really tell him how she feels.
What happened during the Love Is Blind Season 10 Reunion?

Like most reunion episodes on Love Is Blind, there are major updates, unresolved tension between former couples, and surprising reveals. One of the most shocking surprises of the reunion comes from Devonta, who reveals he is now engaged and has a baby on the way. The news seems to have shaken his former fiancée, Brittany, as it caught her off guard. Given the amount of time that has passed since Brittany and Devaonta parted ways, it is valid that she is caught off guard by this news, as it suggests that Devonta quickly moved on with another woman shortly after the experiment.
In turn, Brittany uses the reunion to confront Devonta and some of the other women about a girls’ trip to Austin. Apparently, while Brittany and Devonta were still engaged, he joined Brianna, Ashley, and Priyanka on their trip. Brittany found out about the trip from Amber, who learned about it from Jordan. The situation highlights the lack of true camaraderie and transparency amongst some women in the group.

Meanwhile, Chris, the official villain of Love Is Blind Season 10, chooses to take a quieter approach to the reunion and apologizes to Connor for his behavior and actions. Granted, he had to be prompted by the show’s host to apologize, which speaks volumes about Chris’s lack of integrity and respect. In contrast, Jessica, Chris’s ex, also confronts the fact that she felt betrayed by some of the women, like Brianna, who entertained Chris’s comments about the more intimate and private parts of their relationship.
Lastly, at the reunion, it is revealed that Jordan and Amber’s marriage lasted only 4 months before they chose to split. Jordan cited that he and Amber’s relationship had issues that continued to stem from Amber’s trust issues and problematic behavior involving alcohol. Meanwhile, Amber expresses her doubts about whether he was truly committed to the marriage full-time, since he had not moved in with Amber and her daughter after the wedding.
Overall, the Reunion serves a few memorable dramatic moments, which just confirms what most audiences were thinking this season: most of these relationships were not going to last.
Love Is Blind Season 10 has no definitive spark.

Although Love is Blind Season 10 has some juicy, entertaining moments and features drama and conflict. Unfortunately, Season 10 lacks the spark and identity of previous seasons. The over-stuffed cast of couples, uneven screentime and editing, and the very odd framing of the season’s location contribute to the season feeling like it has taken a huge step back.
Another noticeable shift in Season 10 was a more conservative tone and direction in conversations about personal values and relationships. Love is Blind this season leaned more heavily on conservatism, which framed many discussions about dating, marriage, gender roles, and family dynamics.
For example, participants Jessica and Keya have publicly noted that they were dating and conversing with several other men in the pods besides Kevan. During her dates with these other men, she would have deep conversations about progressive and liberal views. However, the audience does not see any of those kinds of conversations. We do, however, see Alex say that he would have voted for Trump during a conversation with Ashley’s family.

It is important to note that this is the first time a member of the show’s cast has openly identified as conservative. Additionally, following the show’s conclusion, other women participants have noted that there were several men cast on the show who have very strong red pill and manosphere beliefs.
This season leaned towards presenting a more one-sided perspective on politics and issues. Coupled with the repeated focus on traditional topics like the pressure to have children biologically and gender roles, this season is heavily filtered through a more narrow, conservative lens than in the past. The tonal shift feels intentional and has just made this season feel noticeably different and lackluster.
