Seeker Games, an independent studio formed by industry veterans from major studios like Blizzard Entertainment and Riot Games, announced its debut title, KinForge. This new co-op creature-collecting action RPG is set to immerse players in a world where they must bond with ancient Elementals to fight corporate corruption and restore nature’s harmony.

“We started Seeker with a simple belief: games can do more than entertain. They can connect, inspire, and restore,” said Oksana Kubushyna, co-founder and CEO of Seeker Entertainment. “KinForge is built on that idea. It’s a world where players don’t fight for glory alone. They fight together to push back corruption and restore balance. It’s a game about cooperation, courage, and hope.”

Each campaign will mark a new beginning for players, featuring a procedurally generated world shaped by the choices and bonds forged in their previous journeys. And players can do it by themselves or co-op up to four players.

“Oksana and I bonded over a shared goal to create something truly new. Something hopeful, but not cozy,” said Travis McGeathy, co-founder and CCO of Seeker Entertainment. “KinForge builds on pieces from our favorite games, combining the mastery-driven intensity of action RPGs with the emotional depth of creature collectors, all wrapped in the social DNA that made games like EverQuest timeless. At its heart, it’s a story about redemption.”

What is KinForge about?

In the world of KinForge, greedy corporations have discovered and ruthlessly exploited the hidden Elementals that power the world, leading to widespread natural corruption. To combat this, the Ancient spirits have granted a select few individuals the ability to see into the Mystic Realm.

Players, acting as these bonded companions, must embark on a quest to restore balance while missions involve exploring ravaged lands, rescuing lost spirits, and pushing back the spreading Corruption. This core loop combines intense action RPG combat with the emotional investment of a creature-collector.

They will also choose which Elementals to bond with before each mission from their growing collection. Each Elemental offers unique powers, allowing for constant experimentation and new combat builds, and each one saved unlocks new combinations of abilities, fueling endless possibilities for battle.

What is the KinForge release date?

The game is currently in early development, with a primary focus on a PC release, but there is no current release date or window. Additionally, Seeker has explained that a console launch has not been ruled out.
