Oops! All Zlatan Ibrahimović is coming to EA Sports FC 26. Electronic Arts announced that Zlatan FC, a club consisting entirely of the legendary striker in every single position (because who else could do this), will be available in the latest entry of the publisher’s annual sports title.

At this point, we’ve seen new stadiums, more Icons, massive updates to players and managers, and now, it’s all about Zlatan. The new Zlatan FC team will be selectable in the Kick Off mode and is a direct result of the soccer star’s famous quote that he can play every single position on the field.

Zlatan FC sees one of his most prolific quotes come to life: “I can play in the 11 positions because a good player can play anywhere on the pitch.” Known for his confidence and skill, this chaotic mode is both some of the best fan service to pay to football fans everywhere, and honors the player.

You can’t help by smile at the quote that EA Sports released to the press to highlight this mode. “Zlatan is pleased to finally be able to express himself in all areas of the pitch,” said Zlatan FC Manager, Goalkeeper, Striker, Defender, and Midfielder Zlatan Ibrahimović. “Fans will no longer have to decide who to play in what position, because they will have the best player available – me.”

What is Zlatan FC?

Zlatan FC is a fully playable team in Kick Off mode with a roster of one player: Zlatan Ibrahimović. Zlatan FC will feature a unique bespoke kit and logo requested by Ibrahimović himself, all with the focus on celebrating his illustrious career. The team’s logo is a bold, striking “Z,” representing Zlatan’s path to stardom.

“At EA Sports FC we pride ourselves on bringing the world’s greatest football clubs together in our experiences, and as a long time Zlatan FC fan, I’m thrilled to see the team make its digital debut in EA Sports FC 26,” said James Salmon, Senior Director, EA Sports FC Franchise Activation, in a release to press.

“Our community have long clamoured for Zlatan to return to FC, and we’re excited for fans to take control of this illustrious club and its notable players such as Zlatan, Zlatan, and Zlatan,” he said.

For the first time, fans will have the opportunity to control the icon in a way they never have before. You can watch Zlatan track back for a last-ditch tackle, make a spectacular save, or even organize the midfield—all while also scoring goals (or saving them as a keeper). And Zlatan FC will be available in the ‘Rest of World’ category.

What is the EA Sports FC 26 release date?

EA Sports FC 26  will launch worldwide on September 26, 2025, and with Early Access from September 19 for players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition.
