SEGA just announced that Muzan Kibutsuji is officially joining the roster of playable characters in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 through a free update. Fans can now use the progenitor of all demons in the game’s Versus Mode, both offline and online.
This DLC announcement continues the game’s focus on the Demon Slayer fandom. In our review of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, our critic said, “All in all, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, despite not being perfect, offers an excellent narrative and gameplay experience. The Hinokami Chronicles 2 DLC: Infinity Castle Character Pass
Taking advantage of another successful Demon Slayer run in cinemas, SEGA has shared the first details on the upcoming paid DLC have also been revealed. The Infinity Castle Character Pass will introduce seven new characters from the recently released Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie.
Players can purchase the full pass to get all seven characters or buy individual character packs as they are released. Details on specific release dates are coming soon.
The content will be released in periodic updates starting this fall.

Infinity Castle Character Joining The Game
The first character to be added will be Kaigaku, a former Demon Slayer who became the new Upper Moon Six. A new version of Zenitsu Agatsuma follows him.

What is Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2?
The Hinokami Chronicles 2 offers players the opportunity to experience the hit anime series. It has two modes to pull fans in:
- Single Player Story Mode: Here, players play as Tanjiro and relive the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. Battle Upper Rank demons with your allies.
- VS Mode: The game features over 40 characters, including the nine Hashira, the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps. New elements, such as Dual Ultimates and Gear, have been added, as well as the ability to play online and offline.
