What is Ember & Blade?

Players take on the role of Fenrix, a demon hunter cursed with immortality by an angel. This curse is your greatest weapon, as each death is merely a chance to grow stronger and carve a new path through the Sanctuary of Oblivion. Alongside Fenrix is a cast of quirky allies, including the twin clay golems Keke and Pea.

Keke helps you forge new weapons, with players able to choose between the heavy-hitting hammer or the agile twin daggers. Pea, his mischievous counterpart, creates powerful relics that grant Fenrix strength on the battlefield. You won’t be alone in your journey; Fenrix’s loyal cat companion, Lumi, is always around to provide helpful tips.

This new demo goes beyond the original offering, taking players into Act 2 for the first time. The game introduces two new angels, Ramiel and Galiliel, who will aid the protagonist Fenrix on his journey. You’ll also face a new challenge in Arcanus, The Faceless, a daunting boss designed to test even the most skilled demon hunters.

Additionally, it introduces the Meta-Progressions mechanic, allowing players to carry their strength forward between runs, and reveals the secretive Shay’s Hideout. Players will get a chance to dive deeper into the game’s unfolding narrative as they explore the expanded world.
