What is coming in The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack?
Gibbi Point is more than just a new world—it’s a destination brimming with unique stories and natural wonders. Formed by a great wave long ago, the landscape is now a lush habitat for Jellyfish, Glow Worms, and rare Plumbirds.
Players can explore three distinct neighborhoods, each with its own charm and core getaway experience:
- Wanderwood Wilds: A dense forest filled with trails and geysers, home to Camp Gibbi where Sims can go fishing and tell campfire stories.
- Crystal Valley: Known for its sparkling rock formations and the cozy Love Highland retreat, a perfect spot for romantic getaways.
- Jellyfish Junction: A vibrant waterfront with a glistening lagoon and a focus on wellness at the Revive & Thrive retreat.
Imaginary Friends & More
The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits expands gameplay for every stage of life. Child Sims can shape their personality and skills through Formative Moments, new Traits, and evolving Childhood Sentiments that influence experiences well into adulthood. They can explore Papercraft, Archery, Diving, and even Entomology, or build sprawling Modular Playgrounds to make adventure time even more thrilling.
The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack is also introducing Imaginary Friends. You can choose from four distinct dolls and four unique personalities, including Goofball, Creative, Competitive, and Evil. Each one will interact and bond with their Sim in their own special and possibly chaotic way.
For Adult Sims in Gibbi Point, kayaking, watersliding, and working out at the Fitness Center are all there for them to enjoy. The new Park Worker career offers two paths—Camp Counselor and Park Ranger—perfect for keeping adventure alive throughout the year.
Custom Getaways and Venues
The expansion’s new Getaway System allows players to design their own escapes. Using the Custom Venues and Getaway Planner features, you can craft unique vacations that range from a day trip to an extended stay. These venues can have custom rules, such as Elimination Rules for a reality-show-style competition. Players can build and decorate these venues and then share them with the community on the Gallery.

- Getaway Planner: Schedule activities and challenges for your Sims, whether it’s a fitness retreat or a relaxing spa day.
- Gallery Integration: Easily upload and download custom venues created by the community.
