Creative Co-Op Game LEGO Voyagers Gets A Release Date

During the Summer Game Fest showcase this year, one game took my heart more than most: LEGO Voyagers. Published by Annapurna Interactive and developed by Light Brick Studio, this couch co-op title asks players to work together, get creative, and embrace a world you can build.

Of all of the co-op games you can play, physics-based ones are the ones that I gravitate to because they take concentration and connection with your partner in the game to move forward. You essentially have to be one person. And that’s what was on display in the reveal trailer during the showcase.

With atmospheric environments and an approach to LEGO that I haven’t seen before, this is a title that I can’t wait to release. You can watch more in the release date trailer below.

What is LEGO Voyagers about?

From the makers of LEGO Builder’s Journey comes a new 2-player co-op adventure about friendship and play. When two friends make it their mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship, they embark on a journey beyond their wildest dreams, ultimately learning the value of being connected.

But if you’re not just a couch co-op player, you’ll be excited to know that you can cooperatively solve the game’s challenges locally on the same screen or online. We do not yet know if the LEGO Voyager will be cross-play or cross-save.

Driving home the cooperative spirit of the game, the “Friend Pass” will allow you to play with friends who don’t own the game. As long as one of you owns LEGO Voyagers, you can both play the whole co-op experience together.

Game Features

  • Tumble, jump, snap together, and build your way through rich brick worlds, as well, be a brick yourself.
  • Unravel a poetic, nonverbal narrative, set in beautiful brick-built environments, supported by an atmospheric soundtrack.
  • Cooperatively solve the game’s many challenges and discover how two bricks are better than one.

Do we have a LEGO Voyager release date?

LEGO Voyagers will be available on September 15th for PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
