Amazon Games and Glowmade have announced that their co-op party platformer, King of Meat, will launch on October 7, 2025. The game, which pits up to four players against devious dungeons—and gives them the power to create their own too- will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

In our preview of the game, we said, “King of Meat is a co-op and community-based game, and with Create Mode, this should really allow players to embrace both of those things. Whether it is showing off to your friends or hundreds of other random players, it’s set for a good time.”

As Amazon Games and Glowmade worked together to develop the business model for King of Meat, in doing so, they identified three core principles that embody what the studio wants to accomplish with its game and how they plan to build their community.

The first is a dedication to adding no pay-to-win, which means that the studio has made the promise that all purchases in-game are purely cosmetic with no gameplay impact, and can be earned by playing the game. Additionally, all cosmetics are entirely optional. And finally, Glowmade made it clear that there are no loot boxes or any other random monetisation, so that the player will understand what they’re buying.

King of Meat challenges up to four players to work together in solving puzzles and fighting monsters across a variety of dungeons. Players can also unleash their creativity by building their own dungeons for the community. In this co-op party platformer, one to four players will work together to tackle puzzles, traverse challenges, and fight ridiculous monsters from Fungeon to the dungeon, gaining fame and entertaining the audience along the way.

There will be over 100 dungeons available at launch, but that number will quickly grow as the community pushes Create Mode to its limits. Glowmade meticulously crafted most launch dungeons, while some came straight from the next generation of dungeon creators like you. These community-built dungeons were hand-picked from Glowmade’s ongoing playtests.
