Created by Carlos Montero, Breathless Season 2 will feature eight episodes and continue the intense drama at the Joaquín Sorolla hospital, which is now operating under private management.

In the upcoming season, the hospital’s new management challenges the staff’s values. Patricia (Najwa Nimri) continues her cancer battle while growing closer to Néstor (Borja Luna). Jésica (Blanca Suárez) is caught in a love triangle between Lluís (Alfonso Bassave) and Biel (Manu Ríos).

At the same time, Pilar (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) struggles with her son Quique’s (Xoán Fórneas) addiction, and may find an unlikely ally in him when the new administration pressures him. The hospital staff also faces a new challenge with the arrival of renowned oncologist, Sophie (Rachel Lascar).

Emergencies don’t take a break. Breathless returns for Season 2 on October 31. From Carlos Montero, the creator of Elite, comes the hospital drama that will leave you breathless. At Joaquín Sorolla Hospital, the pulse never slows-but this is the medical team you need: Manu Ríos, Najwa Nimri, Blanca Suárez, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Alfonso Bassave, Borja Luna, Gustavo Salmerón, Pablo Alborán, and Rachel Lascar are back with new stories that change everything.

Breathless Season 2 Production Details

The series is created by Carlos Montero, with executive producers Carlos Montero, Diego Betancor, and Carlos Ruano. The episodes are directed by David Pinillos, Marta Font, and Abril Zamora, and written by Carlos Montero, Carlos Ruano, Guillermo Escribano, Adela Gutiérrez, and Nach Solís. ‘Breathless’ is produced by El Desorden Crea.

El Desorden Crea is a production company founded by Carlos Montero, who has been writing and creating series for over twenty years, including Física o Química, El desorden que dejas, and Élite. The company was born out of a desire to bring to life all those stories that deserve to be told.

After the 2023 premiere of Todas las veces que nos enamoramos and the 2024 phenomenon Breathless, they solidified their path in 2025 with Legado. Now, they present the second season of Breathless — a new chapter that expands the series’ universe and reaffirms their commitment to creating content that moves.

Breathless Season 2 releases exclusively on Netflix on October 31, 2025.
