Farever, the online cooperative action RPG set in a high-fantasy open world from Dune: Spice Wars, Wartales, and Northgard developer Shiro Games, heeds the call of adventure on PC via Steam with a Beta in 2025, as revealed during the PC Gaming Show.

During the PC Gaming Show, Shiro Games released the official reveal trailer for the game, giving attendees a glimpse into its bright and colorful world. The open world format is fully displayed, showcasing each biome and its creatures with varying intensity.

“In Farever, adventure is always around the corner,” said Nicolas Cannasse, CEO, Shiro Games. “We’re thrilled to reveal the game during the PC Gaming Show and can’t wait to invite players to Siagarta for co-op exploration when Farever comes to Steam.”

As the game heads into Beta, it already looks promising. But what adventures await players when they enter the game’s world?

What To Expect From Farever?

Journey into the wild, wondrous world of Siagarta in Farever, a vibrant, untamed land bursting with color, mystery, and fantastical biomes. Amid roaming factions and lurking dangers, daring humans set out to explore the unknown, uncover hidden marvels, and carve their own path through a landscape as unpredictable as it is beautiful.

Assemble a team of trusted allies and set forth, defeating enemies, clearing dungeons, and tackling dynamic world events in an action-packed online adventure dedicated to player-driven progression and fun-first cooperative play.

Key Features:
  • Character Classes – Select from one of 10 character classes (with four planned for Early Access), specializing in tanking, support, and DPS roles while experimenting with over 100 weapons and their accompanying skills available at 1.0 launch.
  • Weapons –  Every weapon in Farever has unique skills associated with it, allowing players to create a customized arsenal for nearly unlimited build variety. Select and choose weapons and master their skills for a personalized gameplay experience where dynamic skillsets shine against fierce enemies.
  • New Regions – Traverse each of Siagarta’s dynamic and breathtaking regions, navigating environments filled with platforming challenges, environmental puzzles, and dangerous dungeons.
  • Solo or Group Efforts – Adventure with a party or brave the unknown solo, utilizing co-op to beckon allies when the situation calls for it. Farever’s content scales according to group size and party roles to encourage synergy for parties tackling boss fights or banding together to overcome dynamic Rift Invasions where hordes of foes descend upon the land.
  • Get to Work – Master dynamic jobs outside of battle. In addition to Farever’s robust weapon and action combat system, crafting and gathering jobs like blacksmiths and cooks bring valuable utility to any group. Scour Siagarta and collect rare resources to craft new gear, accessories, and one-of-a-kind armaments.

You don’t have to wait forever until the Beta drops. We’re already at the halfway mark of 2025. Farever will arrive on PC via Steam with a Beta in 2025. Just keep your eyes peeled for more updates later on in the year.
