Killa bees we on a swarm! During Summer Game Fest 2025, Brass Lion Entertainment celebrated its debut teaser trailer for Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver. The teaser will also play at every Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour stop, showing off a new entry in the Wu-Tang Clan mythology.

Brass Lion Entertainment’s debut video game, Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver, is a tentpole of Ghostface Killah’s Angel of Dust (AOD) franchise and the legendary supergroup’s long-awaited return to the world of video games since Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style’s release on PlayStation in 1999.

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver was initially conceived as a tie-in to Angel of Dust, an upcoming supernatural thriller produced by Ghostface Killah, to be directed by the RZA under AOD Films. The Wu-Tang Clan video game will introduce core themes that will be reflected in Angel of Dust.

In a quote released to media, Ghostface Killah said, “Creating Angel of Dust has been an incredible journey. Bringing the story to life through film was just the beginning. Now, with the development of the video game, we are immersing fans even deeper into this supernatural thriller universe. It’s about blending music, storytelling, and interactive experience. I can’t wait for fans to step into the darkness and discover what lies beneath.”

Wu-Tang Clan has always mixed a love of music with a love of martial arts films. I mean, they’re the reason I discovered the Shaw Brothers films when I was a child. And now, Wu-Tang is coming to a whole new generation and in an all-new format, expanding their lore and their love at the same time. For more of the Wu-Tang Clan Video game features, check below.

What is the new Wu-Tang Clan video game about?

In Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver, the Wu-Tang Clan must pass on their fantastical powers to a new generation of warriors to save their home of Shaolin. And because Wu-Tang is all about family, of course, the game is a multiplayer title for you and your friends to band together and fight against the forces of an invasive, corrupting entity called the Deceiver.

With up to 3 co-op players, you will harness the mystical abilities of the Wu-Tang Clan to fight nightmarish enemies in a surreal dreamscape as they wage war for the collective soul of Shaolin. Players can customize their fighting styles and fashion by collecting powerful Jewels and killer gear. Fight, flow, and flex as you experience a dynamic gameplay soundtrack including classic Wu-Tang songs that comes with added new material overseen by legendary producer Just Blaze.

  • Player customization to show off your drip and tailor your fighting style

Brass Lion Entertainment began developing its slate of projects back in 2019. Since then, they’ve been slowly building their team, focusing on longevity and sustainability. The studio has grown to two co-founders and 53 talented contributors across the US and Canada, all working remotely to bring this vision to life.

Co-founders Bryna Dabby-Smith and Rashad Redic commented to press, “We are beyond excited to finally share this game with the public, and to build upon the creative foundation of Angel of Dust with Ghostface Killah. We are honored to be entrusted with continuing to build upon the legacy of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, and help to create an experience that honors them and their body of work.”

Brass Lion Entertainment’s shared vision for the future is to build a legacy of culturally authentic experiences. Their “about me” highlights their dedication to “drawing inspiration from brass’s elegant resilience and lions’ communal strength, they focus on storytelling that reflects reality and aspirations. Their mission is to break barriers, amplify voices, and craft innovative entertainment that resonates with audiences. Comprised of anime enthusiasts, hip-hop fans, gamers, artists, and more, BLE is creating cultural moments that celebrate diversity and empower marginalized communities.”

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver is coming to consoles and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
