What iz BADGIRL About?

BADGIRL is an adaptation of the seinen manga written and illustrated by Nikumaru, which has been serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat since March 2021 and currently boasts four volumes.

Meet Yu Yutani, a first-year high school student with a unique look with sharp eyes, prominent piercings, and striking two-tone hair. She’s gained a reputation as a “bad girl” around school, but here’s the twist: she’s anything but! At heart, Yu is incredibly kind and good-natured. So why the delinquent act?

It all stems from her burning desire to catch the eye of the school’s “Madonna,” the beautiful and popular Atori Mizutori, who also happens to be the head of the student disciplinary committee. In an adorable, misguided attempt to get Atori’s attention, Yu has decided to ditch her honor student status and transform into a “bad delinquent!” Get ready for some hilariously awkward and heartwarming moments as Yu tries her best to be “bad” for love.
