DON’T NOD‘s publishing arm continues to surprise. This time, it’s with the first demo for their highly anticipated action-RPG, The Lonesome Guild. The demo accompanies a brand-new gameplay trailer debuting at the AG French Direct conference. The demo will also be a part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest in June.

Developed by Tony Bull Studios, The Lonesome Guild asks players to step into the ethereal shoes of Ghost, a spirit who awakens without memories. Now, they have to form their very own “lonesome guild” of ragtag adventurers, uniting to purge Etere of the pervasive loneliness that corrupts it.

Tiny Bull Studios is an independent Italian game developer based in Turin. The studio aims to craft unique and immersive experiences across various genres. Known for its innovative approach to storytelling and gameplay, the studio explores deep narratives and distinctive aesthetics with projects such as Blind and the Omen Exitio saga.

The Lonesome Guild trailer highlights its world

The new trailer offers a tantalizing first look at the game’s unique blend of thrilling real-time combat, expansive exploration, and clever puzzle-solving. Developed by Italian indie studio Tiny Bull Studios, The Lonesome Guild plunges players into the melancholic world of Etere, a land consumed by a creeping mist of loneliness.

What to expect from The Lonesome Guild demo

The demo will let players experience the beginning of Ghost’s journey, starting with recruiting your first two companions: Davinci and Mr. Fox. These are just two of the six unique friends you’ll eventually gather, each boasting their own compelling story, motivations, and distinct abilities. Players will be allowed to seamlessly switch between these characters to tackle incoming enemies, unravel ancient puzzles, and even face off against the game’s first boss.

Strategy also plays a significant role as you assemble the Lonesome Guild. As the ominous mist spreads, you must strategically assemble your party of six misfits. Expect dynamic combat and engaging puzzle-solving as you explore a world of secrets. Forging bonds with your companions isn’t just for heartfelt moments by the campfire; it also unlocks powerful combat combos, making teamwork essential for survival.

The Lonesome Guild will release on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in Fall 2025.
