Following its Western release on NCSoft’s PURPLE platform in February, NC America will launch Blade & Soul NEO, the modern remaster of the iconic original, soon on Steam.
Currently available for free on PURPLE, NC America’s reimagining of the original MMORPG will arrive on Steam with the same enhanced graphics, a fully intact storyline, Infinite Windwalk, intense PvP combat, new combat features, and powerful character creation tool.
Since its launch on February 25, NC America has brought two free content updates to the MMORPG, including Moonwater Plains 1 and 2. More updates are planned through summer 2025.
What’s new in the remastered Blade & Soul NEO?
A modern reinterpretation of the original Blade and Soul‘s wuxia-themed fantasy world, Blade and Soul NEO enables gamers the opportunity to re-live the original storyline as a hero determined to restore honor to their clan.
Players immediately join the well-known Hongmoon Clan, led by Master Hong, only to witness its sudden destruction by the villainess Jinsoyun and her accomplices, Yura and Gubong. Left to die, MMORPG fans will begin their journey of discovery, intrigue, and adventure, solo or with friends.
Pick from four playable races based on animal lore: the Jin, Gon, Lyn and Yun; and amongst seven classes: Assassin, Blade Dancer, Blade Master, Destroyer, Force Master, Kung Fu Master, and Summoner.
Blade & Soul NEO Features Include:
- Deep Character Creation
- Remastered Graphics and Animations
- Infinite Windwalk and Limitless Exploration
- Action-Based Combat with a new Skill system
- Challenging Dungeon Bosses
For players eager to play now, download Blade & Soul NEO for free on NC America’s PURPLE platform. NC America will announce a specific date at a future time.
