Kentaro Miura‘s Berserk has defined dark fantasy across the globe. The manga, currently available in leatherbound omnibus form from Dark Horse Comics, can be seen in Final Fantasy’s Dark Knight design, throughout Netflix’s Castlevania, and now, Berserk is coming to Diablo Immortal. The collaborations will draw directly from Muira’s seminal work to bring its hellish, dark fantasy to life in the ARPG with Diablo Imoortal x Berserk: Struggler’s Path.

As Blizzard’s first non-owned IP collaboration, Guts, Griffith, and all of the gore and mayhem that come with them are colliding with Sanctuary. From May 1 to May 30, 2025, Struggler’s Bane will allow players to wield fearsome power with the Crimson Behelit Legendary Gem, and much more.

Boss Fight: Nosferatu Zodd: Face the immortal beast in a brutal new encounter, with an even more terrifying version unlocked by the Crimson Behelit Gem. You’ll soon be able to challenge this embodiment of bloodlust, survive the storm of his attacks, and prove yourself his most worthy opponent in his over 300 years of slaughter.

“Pile it up, take all you have left, chant the words ‘I sacrifice’ in your heart, and you will be granted raven-black wings upon which you shall soar higher than any summit.”

But the collaboration goes two ways. With the Survivor’s Bane Event, you will enter the Eclipse and fight off waves of monsters to endure the sacrifice that shook the Band of the Hawk. The Eclipse is an apocalyptic event within Kentaro Miura’s manga, where the Band of the Hawk was sacrificed by their former leader to exalt him as a member of the Godhand. Within the Eclipse, these doomed warriors were teleported to a hellscape, mercilessly slaughtered after being marked with the Brand of Sacrifice.

As Griffith’s husk clung to any semblance of life, the crimson Behelit lay within his withered hands. A wordless face swam in existence, eager to heed its master’s call—the desire to summon the Godhand and acquire his kingdom. While Survivor’s Bane is active during the Struggler’s Path event, you’ll be able to fight within the Eclipse itself. Every other minute, you’ll experience the full Eclipse for 60 seconds. While the Eclipse is active, a new, unique boss also awaits there to execute the Godhand’s bidding.

You’ll also get new loot during the Struggler’s Path. Earn the Crimson Behelit Gem, the Broken Band’s Armament, Berserk-themed weapon skins, and Golem Familiars. The Crimson Behelit writhes in silent agony, eyes staring unfocused, ready to receive the sacrifice necessary to exalt a mere human to that of a Godhand. This fearsome new Legendary Gem arrives with the Struggler’s Path. The value below reflects its power at Rank 10.

You will also receive login rewards, allowing you to take advantage of free cosmetics, crests, and class-specific weapons, just for showing up to the fight. For the duration of the Struggler’s Path, you’ll be able to earn exclusive Berserk-themed weapon cosmetics lethal enough to challenge the fiercest demons of Sanctuary. Eight skins are available to claim, one for each class.

Log in during the event to select your preferred tool of demonic dismemberment, the first of which will be specific to your class. Weapon skins available during the event include the fearsomely massive Dragon Slayer greatsword!

  • 1x Struggler’s Path Weapon Cosmetic
  • Crimson Behelit Legendary Gem
  • Eclipse Portal Cosmetic
  • Eclipse Frame
  • 10x Legendary Crests

A new Golem companion is also on the way. Although they’re formed of earth and water, these stumbling creatures are sturdier than they appear. Golems are constructs capable of protecting their master, even in the deadliest of situations.

You will soon have the opportunity to obtain these unique Familiar Skins, which give your Familiar the look of these earthen companions. While the event is active, your first summoned Familiar is guaranteed to be a Golem.

Diablo Immortal x Berserk: Struggler’s Path is available May 1 -May 30, 2025.
