From the Manningcast to Hulu, Eli Manning serves as executive producer on Chad Powers, along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, and ESPN. Based on his ESPN walk-on quarterback skit, Chad Powers stars superstar and avid Longhorn football fan Glen Powell in the titular role.

Set to premiere in time for football season in Fall 2025, the series stars Powell, who is also co-creating, co-writing, and executive producing under his production co-banner Barnstorm Productions with Michael Waldron.

A half-hour comedy, Chad Powers is a Hulu Original series with Waldron and Adam Fasullo as executive producers for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe will executive produce, and Tony Yacenda will serve as director and executive producer.

In the original skit, Eli Manning attended walk-on (or run-ons) tryouts at Penn State after learning about the process in Happy Valley from Head Coach James Franklin. Throughout the college football season, Powell has been using halftime at stadiums. Unlike the original 15-minute sketch, Powell’s Chad Powers will take place at a Southern school – a nod to Powell’s Texas roots.

Based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s Places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television will stream on Hulu. Powell and Waldron co-wrote the pilot.
