Balatro has become the fastest selling Playstack game during its first 24 hours on sale. The poker roguelike from Publisher Playstack Games and developer LocalThunk had it’s digital release worldwide across PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox. The game moved to the Steam Global Top Sellers list within an hour and amassed more than 2000 Overwhelmingly Positive reviews before the end of the first day. The deck builder is currently ranked on Metacritic as the joint-highest rated PC game of 2024 with a score of 92. Playstack Chief Executive Officer, Harvey Elliot, expressed his excitement, saying:
