Looking for a new mobile game obsession to sink some time into? Well, TapTap Presents has got you covered. Last year, TapTap Presents got over 10 million views and this year it was even bigger! Today, the event was streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook and the TapTap App. TapTap Presents 2022 featured more than 20 games which included new content from cross-platform behemoths like Genshin Impact and some big reveals too.
TapTap is a mobile gaming oasis built on the pillars of community and accessible gamer-to-developer connection. Co-founded in 2016 by XD Inc., TapTap hosts a wide variety of high quality AAA and indie mobile titles alike, with the aim to build a community of gamers through their favorite pastime. Additionally, the platform connects players with developers, content creators, and each other creating a united community of passionate individuals.
“We are excited to have concluded another successful showcase, introducing remarkable new titles to the TapTap community and gamers around the world,” said Huang Yimeng, Co-Founder and CEO of XD Inc. responsible for the production of TapTap Presents. “We strive to release quality content and generate new games of a higher caliber through the combined efforts of TapTap and XD Inc. It is through the support of our players that we’re able to continue these efforts and grow our audience year after year. It is because of this that we thank all who tuned in to the show and we look forward to seeing you all next year!”
TapTap Presents 2022 featured updates for fan favorites. Torchlight Infinite, a hack-and-slash ARPG from XD Inc., revealed updated gameplay footage as well as a new hero, Thea, coming in October 2022. Wuthering Waves, the open-world adventure narrative from Kuro Games, announced a live demo that featured new gameplay, with movement design that allows for a wide variety of character actions, enabling players to maneuver through the air with ease.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Mobile, from 24 Entertainment which is now open for pre-registration. And finally, Yeager: Hunter Legend announced an open BETA available in Q4 2022 where players can jump into a 3D ARPG, explore the alien planet of Ekors, and battle its ferocious beasts. Plus, it also showcased reveals from Eternal Evolution, the strategy-based idle battler from Hero Games; Ragnarok M: Eternal Love, a fantasy MMORPG from XD Inc. which promises adorable good times with new characters, new job classes, and more; and Flash Party, the competitive multiplayer brawler also from XD Inc.
For a round-up of some of my favorite reveals are below:
- Genshin Impact: New companions are coming with new adventures, thanks to the journey to Sumeru.
- Etheria: Restart: A turn-based RPG made in Unreal Engine 4, TapTap Presents 2022 served as the worldwide debut of the game where you get to investigate a metaphysic virtual world and reveal hidden obscurities and code your own legacy.
- Project Stars: Offers infinite freedom with its sandbox game type set in a vast universe that allows you to team up with friends, explore, build, and fight to survive.
- CAPTAIN TSUBASA: ACE: Based on the hit anime series, you can now live out your wildest soccer dreams where you can play as your favorite celebrity athletes and experience perfectly recreated scenes from the series.
