In this episode of “Carolyn Talks…” she speaks with contemporary romance writer Rebekah Weatherspoon about creating stories about love, sex, romance and characters we wish were real.
Romance books bring immense joy to fans of the genre. It provides an entertaining escape into a world filled with drama, glorious heroines, and swoon-worthy leading men like Rafe, a bearded hulking teddy bear of a man. For her books Rebekah creates characters that many of us can relate to by placing them in realistic scenarios and showing that people from all walks of life – with and with out disabilities- can have and deserve fulfilling live…and sex…lots of it. Her books are funny, sad, thought-provoking, and entertaining. As someone who has been reading romance books for more than half of my life (I probably started way too early), it was joy to speak with Rebekah about what it takes to write, and the joys of thirsting.
Listen to Carolyn’s review of Rafe in a previous episode of So Here’s What Happened.
