TiMi Studio Group has announced the first-ever overseas closed PC alpha test for its Eastern Fantasy multiplayer action RPG, Honor of Kings World. PC players can register now for the Honor of Kings World closed alpha test for the chance to be among the first to get hands-on with an early build of the highly anticipated title.
“We can’t wait to welcome new overseas players into the world of Primaera for the first time. This early playtest gives us our first opportunity to get player feedback at scale that will help us shape the future of Honor of Kings: World,” said Big Huang, lead combat designer for Honor of Kings: World, in a press release.

Back in 2025, we spoke with the Honor of Kings: World team at length about their focus on putting player experience above meta-building, and the importance of bringing Eastern fantasy to a global audience. In our interview with Lead Designer at TiMi Studio Group, Simen Lv, the developer noted the learning that the team would be looking for as they expand internationally.
“I think stories are universal, and you don’t need a lot of explanations to enjoy them,” Simen Lv explained when asked what he hopes players will take away from the game when it launches. Right now,” he continued, “we’re just getting started in the international market, so we’re still learning what people like and how it differs from the local market. What we really want to do is introduce our culture and see how people respond to it. Then, we can gather feedback and keep improving from there.”
Now, with the launch of the first overseas Closed Alpha Test, the Honor of Kings: World is opening its doors to the international market in a big way.
When we previewed the game at GDC 2025, we said, “Honor of Kings World is an exciting expansion on a successful IP and will surely capture players, just like its other titles in the franchise had. While the combat takes some learning, the time to master it is small, and the reward for exploring what combat build and style resonate with you is an exciting satisfaction. This is one title to add to your most anticipated list, and in a franchise first, it will be available on mobile and PC at launch.”
What is Honor of Kings World?
This brand new title expands on Honor of Kings, a MOBA with over 260 million monthly active users. In Honor of Kings: World, players take on the role of a new student at Jixia Academy, a renowned institution for gifted individuals.
You will meet fellow students, mentors, and legendary heroes as you uncover the mysteries of the Wonders and “the Flow”—a unique energy source that shapes the land’s story. Along the way, they will encounter iconic heroes, forge alliances, and ultimately challenge the “Chain of Fate” to create their own legend.

What to expect from the Closed Alpha Test
Participants in the Alpha Test will gain early hands-on access to the game whilst development continues on the title. Per TiMi Studio Group, this test will “provide valuable insight into core gameplay systems,” which will allow them to take feedback and make adjustments as needed for players.
In addition to the announcement of the test, TiMi Studio Group also included a breakdown of what game features will be available to players during the Alpha Test:
- Free exploration of the expansive world of Primaera
- A dynamic combat system with dual hero Flow Styles, allowing players to seamlessly switch between the fighting techniques of two heroes in real time
- A rich blend of PvE adventure and competitive PvP experiences
- Skill-based combat with precise parries, perfect dodges, and highly responsive action gameplay
- Cooperative multiplayer boss encounters with evolving mechanics
- Social features such as shared world hubs and co-op activities
- Home building, farming, and crafting systems
Who can enter the Honor of Kings World Closed Alpha?
