Hellraiser has a puzzle box, and Dead by Daylight is getting an Auris Box. Level 99 Games, in partnership with Behaviour Interactive, announced that an upcoming Gamefound Project is going to add new content to Dead by Daylight: The Board Game. After 10 years, the new Auris Campaign is helping celebrate 10 years and is coming with the Auris Box, a new collectible way to store your board game.

The third expansion for the board game, the Auris Campaign and Auris Box, will be listed on Gamefound, scheduled to go live on June 16, 2026, and will run for approximately four weeks. This continues Dead by Daylight’s multimedia approach to connecting to its players, which also includes an upcoming comic book series from Titan Comics.

With the new Auris campaign on Gamefound, players will have the chance to obtain the Auris Box, a collector’s storage box for all the Dead by Daylight: The Board Game content. It also contains a new Killer, the Houndmaster, and a new Survivor, Taurie Cain, with two new maps to play.

Additionally, the Auris Box also comes with instructions for three new ways to play:

  • Survive Alone – A dedicated 2-player format
  • Survive Together – Survivor team play with an automated Killer
  • Kill Alone – Solo Play as the Killer against 4 automated Survivors

Players can find more information about the Auris Campaign on the Gamefound page here.

What is the Dead by Daylight: The Board Game?

Dead by Daylight Board Game But Why Tho 4

If you’re unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight: The Board Game captures the intensity of the video game’s eldritch horror, where four Survivors use their unique Perks to attempt to escape a nightmarish Trial, while another player seeks to bring a swift end to their terrifying night as the Killer.

Like the video game, the tabletop version features multiple Survivors and Killers to play, each with their own strategies and methods of accomplishing their goals. And much like video games, the board game also features expansions, such as Malicious and Lightbringer, which add more Survivors and Killers, ensuring players always feel a sense of replayability.

Want to start playing the video game? Here is what you need to know.

If you aren’t familiar, Dead by Daylight, developed by Behaviour Interactive, is an asymmetrical multiplayer experience that pits survivors against a killer. In the game, you are trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil, and play as either one of four determined Survivors or the bloodthirsty Killer hunting them.

Initially released in 2016, this asymmetrical horror game has continuously expanded its roster of characters to include countless iconic horror properties from film, television, gaming, and beyond. Because of its large player base, jumping into new games is easy, and with so many collaborations, there is bound to be something to pull you in.
