The first Minecraft LIVE of 2026 just wrapped, and it included several major reveals across the Minecraft universe. With everyone (myself included) in love with Pokémon Pokopia, it should be exciting to know that one of its inspirations just keeps expanding from Minecraft Dungeons 2 to brand new live experiences.
All of the announcements signal to the game’s lasting impact on pop culture, and that it’s still very much in demand. We’ve rounded up the announcements in one place just in case you don’t have time to watch all of Minecraft LIVE 2026.
Minecraft Dungeons 2

The first major announcement was the next chapter of the action RPG version of the IP. The original Minecraft Dungeons has been beloved by the community and transformed the IP into a new genre. Arriving this Fall, Minecraft Dungeons 2 introduces new locations, enemies, and high-stakes encounters across the Minecraft universe.
Currently available to wishlist, Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be included in Xbox Game Pass and is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC later this year.

Minecraft World

For everyone that loves an in-person experience, Europe is getting one. Yup, the live stream also announced that Mojang Studios and Merlin Entertainments are bringing to life Minecraft World. This will serve as the franchise’s first theme park experience, a fitting expansion of the franchise’s impact given the financial success of The Minecraft Movie (even if it didn’t land for the majority of critics).
Mincraft World will debut at Chessington World of Adventures in Greater London in 2027, bringing Minecraft-inspired environments and gameplay to life for fans to play in and explore.
Minecraft World is a $70 million project that represents the next major evolution of the franchise. Inspired by the game’s most iconic biomes, mobs, and items, Minecraft World will bring the best-selling game of all time into the physical world for the very first time at a major theme park.
The land will feature new Minecraft-themed attractions, including a thrilling world first coaster, interactive adventures, epic block built playscapes, and themed retail and dining.
Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail

The next announcement is that Minecraft Experience is going even more global. The live stream also announced a new Minecraft in-person experience, Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail. A new outdoor nighttime interactive adventure debuting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Moonlight Trail is where players will explore Minecraft biomes, craft gear, mine resources, and battle mobs along a real-world forest trail. Bridging the beauty of Argentina’s wildlife and forest with the video game.
If you’re unfamiliar, Minecraft Experience is beginning with Village Rescue is an immersive, hour-long, in-person interactive adventure touring various cities, designed for families to enter the world of Minecraft. Participants use a “Mob of Interaction” to explore biomes, craft items, fight mobs, and save villagers in a story-based, high-tech, real-life quest.
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue was the first of its kind and is travelling the globe, and will soon arrive at Herning, Singapore, Mexico City, and Chicago. Check the official site for more details.
New Minecraft Drops
But with all of the new announcements of in-person experiences and new games, Mojang isn’t forgetting about the primary property. With two new drops coming to Minecraft.
Tiny Takeover Mob Drop

Tiny Takeover changes the look of almost every baby mob. Before this drop they looked like smaller versions of their adult equivalents. But that’s not cute enough, so now, ever baby mob is getting a cuteness update. With every baby mob has its own distinct look, “optimized for adorability,” as Mojang shared via news release.
Tiny Takeover arrives March 24 across all platforms with redesigned baby mobs, new baby variants, and new items, including the Golden Dandelion and craftable nametags.
Chaos Cubed Drop

Minecraft LIVE 2026 also gave fans a very first look at Chaos Cubed, a new drop coming sometime later in 2026. This first look included the brand-new sulfur caves. The pools that look relaxing are actually a noxious danger for players, set to cause a strange dizzying-style effect if you get too close. The new caves also introduce two new block sets – cinnabar and sulfur.
The sulfur cube is also adding something new to the game’s mobs because, well, it can absorb blocks and changes attributes based on what it aborbs. Like Kirby, but Minecraft. This mob allows for even more creativity in your builds and refined chaos in your mini-games.
