Netflix has announced via TUDUM (the streamer’s blog) that Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, known for his lead role in The Gangs of London and more recently Netflix’s Black Rabbit, has joined the cast of All The Sinners Bleed.

The new Netflix Original series is helmed by showrunner and lead writer Joe Robert Cole, known for his work as the screenwriter for both Black Panther films. Cole will also direct the first three episodes of the new series. Additionally, limited series will be executive-produced by Higher Ground Productions, Amblin Television, and Cosby.

“The specificity of the world S.A. Cosby created truly swept me away, and Titus Crown seized my heart,” Cole commented in a quote given to TUDUM.

All the Sinners Bleed is a nine-episode television adaptation of S.A. Cosby’s New York Times best-selling novel of the same name. Cosby is known as one of the most prolific writers of “Southern noir” fiction and crime fiction more broadly. The Virginia-native has captured the crime genre by embracing Southern culture and traditional Southern Gothic approaches to storytelling.
