The series will debut with two episodes on Thursday, January 15, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States.
Star Trek Starfleet Academy is a 10-episode season, starring Academy Award winner Holly Hunter as the Chancellor of Starfleet Academy and featuring a cast of rising stars. In a surprise announcement, comedian Stephen Colbert revealed in a special video that he will join the cast, lending his voice to the Digital Dean of Students.
