What is Star Trek: Starfleet Academy about?

Star Trek Starfleet Academy is an adventure-filled genre blend that follows a young group of cadets who arrive at the Academy united by a shared dream of hope and optimism. The cadets must quickly adapt under the demanding instruction of their superiors as they embark on the rigorous journey to become Starfleet officers.

The series will explore the pressures of navigating blossoming friendships, intense rivalries, first loves, and the looming threat of a new enemy that challenges both the Academy’s existence and the foundational principles of the Federation itself. With these themes, the series seems easily geared toward young adult audiences.
