Additionally, the Season 19 update goes a bit deeper with new heroes joining the roster, a new Control map, and quality-of-life updates. And of course, the Battle Passes are getting some new additions as well, with Overwatch 2 Season 19 bringing in three all-new Mythic Skins, two available right at launch. What is Haunted Masquerade?

The Overwatch 2 Season 19 update brings players three Halloween-themed events to jump into for a limited time. The titular event, Haunted Masquerade, is followed by Junkenstein’s Revenge and Wrath of the Bride.
- Haunted Masquerade: This mode allows players to don a mystical mask of other heroes, granting them buffs that alter the playstyles on the field.
- Junkenstein’s Revenge: An Overwatch classic, this mode tasks a group with surviving waves of zombie Omnics and bosses that Junkenstein has created. It’s a standard horde mode with the classic monster twist.
- Wrath of the Bride: Coined a cinematic co-op chapter, Wrath of the Bride locks players into Sojourn, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Ashe into the heart of Adlersbrunn. Through the chapter, you’ll face horror takes on your favorite heroes like Banshee Moira, Gargoyle Winston, a marionette Echo, and even Symetra gets a horror take as The Summoner.
What gameplay updates are coming in Overwatch 2 Season 19?

Overwatch Season 19 adds new heroes and a map to Stadium. Torbjörn, Hazard, and Sojourn join the fray, while the new Busan Sanctuary Control map also makes its debut. Competitively, players have a new ladder with new rankings, and the All-Star Cassidy is unlockable for people who reach the top.
But as many shiny new things are added, quality of life updates are also making their way in that deserve a higlight too.
- Combat Text: This new addition allows players to view their damage and healing numbers floating on screen regardless of view, across all Stadium matches, and in the Practice Range. One of the important elements added with the combat text is the inclusion of necessary accessibility features, allowing users to customize the size, transparency, and data type displayed. Still, for those not looking to see their combat numbers in real time, it can be turned off.
- Armory Upgrade: Items and Builds will have dedicated sub-tabs, filters, and faster search tools.
- Gadgets Updates: Players can now select a single Gadget per match. If you’re not familiar, gadgets are powerful items that can be deployed once, to hopefully seal the win or change the direction of the match.
