KILLER INN Closed Beta Test 2 Is On The Way – Here’s How To Join

Square Enix announced the second Closed Beta Test for its multiplayer murder mystery action game, Killer Inn. This new Killer Inn Closed Beta playtest incorporates feedback from the first beta, promising a more refined experience for both new and returning players.

Following the initial Closed Beta Test in July, the development team has shared via a press release that they have been working to implement a range of improvements, with chief among them being feature balance adjustments. Additionally, a reassessment of certain design elements and the introduction of new features, all based on feedback from the first playtest.

What is Killer Inn?

Killer Inn is a collaborative project between TBS GAMES and Square Enix. The game is a murder mystery action game set in a castle. Players begin the game in their room and then venture out onto the property. With 24 players, Wolves must disguise themselves amongst the lambs, taking them down one by one. The lambs collect clues (such as hair, fingerprints, and clothing) left behind at the murder scenes to narrow down the suspects and eliminate them. Enjoy a battle between detectives and murderers as if you have wandered into the world of a mystery drama.

How do I sign up for the Killer Inn Closed Beta Test 2?

Sign-ups are open to everyone: Players can sign up for the Steam playtest to participate.

• Automatic access for returning players: Anyone who took part in the first Closed Beta Test will automatically have access to this new test.
• New Players: Newly registered players will be notified of their access on October 1, 2025.
• Tokyo Game Show Attendees: Attendees at Tokyo Game Show can get a special invitation code to join the beta by playing the game at the Square Enix booth.
